I am your host
My name is Rachael Cornick, Ray for short.
My career began as a chemical engineer in operations at an industrial gas company, advocating for increased sustainability.
Seeking a more direct path to impact, I transitioned to cleantech and became a partner in a boutique commercial-scale solar, wind, and storage development company. I have been the Executive Director for a renewable energy nonprofit and have led operations teams deploying advanced smart grid and Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS) technology.
I currently teach about clean energy at Binghamton University, serve on the program committee of Cleantech Leaders Roundtable and am a professional singer.
